A proper cobbler,

Gennaro's Rural Cobbler Service is Daniel's workshop on Ridgeview Road in Fly Creek, between Berry Springs and Freds Pass. Men's and women's shoe repairs, leather work, watches and traditional hand engraving, without the drive into town.
Daniel repairs the shoes and boots people actually wear out here: RM Williams, Chelseas, work boots and good leather shoes. Old soles come off, gaps get glued and filled, new Microcell cushioning goes in, and new soles and heels are fitted. Most pairs leave with a complimentary polish. One customer's RMs had been knocked back as "too far gone" to re-sole. Daniel did them anyway, and they should get a few more years out of them now.

Yes, and it's one of the most common jobs on the bench. Old soles are removed, gaps glued and filled, new Microcell cushioning added, then new soles and heels fitted. Daniel has re-soled RMs that had been turned away elsewhere as "too far gone".
If the uppers are still good, usually yes. Good leather boots can be re-soled more than once and will outlast a cheap new pair. Send a photo and Daniel will give you an honest answer.

Yes. Watch batteries are replaced, and watches can be pressure tested to check the seals are still holding. General watch repairs are done too.
